you’ll find a new button.  Angie, who wrote the post over on Bring The Rain about praying scripture with/over your children, now has a cute button to help you remember to pray.  The button links up with her original post that includes the scriptures she uses.  You can use the same ones as she does or you can pick out your own.  The point is, it’s important to pray for our children.  And it’s important to use scripture in our prayers.  And it’s important that our children HEAR those prayers (they don’t have to hear every single prayer, some need to remain private).  Start memorizing scripture tonight!  I am.  I’m starting with one because I don’t multi-memorize very well.  Has to be one at a time.  Here’s the one I’m working on:

When they wake up: “Let the morning bring (child’s name) word of your unfailing love, for she has put her trust in You.  Show (her/him) the way (she/he) should go, for to you (he/she) lifts up her soul.” (Adapted from Psalm 143:8)
